MEET OUR LEADERSHIP
Get to know Aaron
Hi, I’m Aaron: a disciple of Jesus, a husband, a father, a pastor, and a biblical counselor. Day by day and alongside the Mound Free church family, I desire to grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ.
I am married to my best friend Jenny and we have a sweet little daughter, Eleanor. I enjoy time with my family, walking with others through the joys and sorrows of life, God’s beauty in creation, listening to and playing music, and all things board games.
I grew up in northwest Ohio, went to college at the U. of Illinois, and then earned M.A.’s in psychology at the U. of Missouri and U. of Minnesota. While I was preparing to become a therapist, the Lord used a mentor to open my heart to Christ. I began reading Scripture and was transformed by the good news of Jesus Christ! I left psychology in order to pursue theological training, earning a Master of Divinity from Central Baptist Theological Seminary. After serving on staff at Bethlehem Baptist Church for four years, I accepted the call to serve as Associate Pastor at Mound Free in 2018. Jenny and I are thrilled to be a part of this loving body of Christ and it's mission and vision to be and make disciples of Jesus.

Get to know Caleb
I was born in Waconia, MN, and have lived in Mound most of my life. I have been attending Mound Free for all of my 32 years. Under my parents leadership I accepted Christ as my Savior at a young age, but didn't truly start to mature in my faith until my early twenties. My desire to grow in my faith has flourished under the leadership of Pastor Dave and my brother Seth. It was during this time that I came to an understanding - I have to deny myself and take up his cross daily (Luke 9:23). I am married to my wonderful wife Victoria, and we have two children - Westyn and Aveya. I have been working in Farmington as an air traffic controller since 2009. I enjoy spending time outdoors and taking spontaneous trips to Duluth with my family.

Get to know Matt
I grew up in Shoreview, MN and attended College at Minnesota State, Mankato, where I majored in Finance and graduated in 2010. In 2012, through the loving persistence of a few dear friends and the Holy Scriptures, God caused me to be born again (1 Peter 1:3). I placed my hope and trust in Jesus Christ as the Lord of my life and for the first time began to delight in godly things. My wife Ashley and I were married in May, 2013 and live in Mound. We have two sons, Micah and Isaac. I work at TCF Bank as a Loan Officer and enjoy spending weekends with Ashley and our boys, reading, and playing golf.
Get to know Andy
I was born and raised in Cedar Falls, IA. I attended Wartburg College where I received a Physics B.A. and went on to obtain a teacher's certificate from the University of Northern Iowa. I am a science teacher at Orono High School. I can’t pinpoint a certain date when I became a believer but I grew up in a Christian home and did what was “right” in the eyes of others. However, I didn’t truly mature in my faith until my Junior and Senior years in College. By the grace of Jesus Christ, I have been actively striving to turn from my sins every day. My wife, Cara, and I have been blessed with two wonderful children.
